Frants Klintsevich, member of Committee on Defense and Security of Council of Federation of the Russian Federation, called lawless detention of 15 vessels by the State Border Service of Ukraine, which, bypassing Ukrainian legislation, visited ports of the annexed Crimea as lawlessness.
«This is a clear mess. And it does not matter whether it is a question of the Russian courts, or the courts of foreign states – both of them entered the ports of the Crimea absolutely legally», wrote on his Facebook page Klintsevich.
«Yes, we are literally capable of blocking the Sea of Azov for any Ukrainian swimming means in minutes. And I do not exclude that such actions may follow. In fact, Ukraine itself really breaks the agreements on the Sea of Azov. Only it will suffer from this», said a Russian top official.
