The Russian side at the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in the Donbas in Minsk categorically disagree with the proposals voiced by the Ukrainian side on the implementation of the provisions of the Minsk agreements relating to security issues.

This was reported by the press secretary for Ukraine’s second president and representative to the Trilateral Contact Group Leonid Kuchma, Darka Olifer.

«Implementation of the bloc on security issues of the Minsk Agreements is an unconditional way to establish a full and comprehensive peace in Donbas», – Olifer said.

«First of all, we are talking about a cease-fire regime; withdrawal of heavy weapons, creation of a demilitarized area near the settlements of Kalmius, Kumachove, Novoazovsk and Sakhanka; unimpeded access of the OSCE SMM to the entire territory of the occupied zone; the creation of security zones along the uncontrolled section of the Russian-Ukrainian border; compliance with the line of demarcation», – the spokeswoman said.

«All these questions were categorically rejected by the Russian side», – Darka Olifer stressed.

In addition, the Ukrainian side expressed concern about increasing of military activity in the area of the settlements of Zolote and Petrovsky

As «The Journalist» reported, Ukraine proposed another initiative to release the hostages.
