The occupation officers were quartered in a cottage in one of the districts of the city of Donetsk, previously evicted its owners.
According to the press-secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Alexander Motuzyanik the population of the temporarily occupied territories in the east of Ukraine continues to suffer from the highhandedness of the Russian occupation administrations.
«In particular, the residents were forcibly evicted from their homes of one of the cottage towns of the southeastern district of Donetsk, in order to quartering senior officers of the 1st Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation», – the spokesman said.
Also, Motuzyanik said that, according to intelligence, on July 4-5, to support the occupying forces, units of 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were conducted training to suppress enemy units with the use of artillery.
In addition, occupying forces are continuing to take measures to camouflage and improve the engineering equipment of the militants’ advanced positions, install minefields and means of defense.
As «The Journalist» reported, militants shelled Ukrainian army positions 26 times over the past 24 hours.
