Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, on Fox News, showed part of his correspondence with the State U.S. special representative to Ukraine Kurt Volker. It is reported by the Voice of America.
“From the message it becomes known that Kurt Volker has discussed the Ukrainian topic with Guiliani and introduced him to key adviser of the Ukrainian president,” the message says.
Volker allegedly offered Giuliani to advise him regarding Zelensky, as well as the dynamics of Ukrainian-Russian relations. Trump’s lawyer insists that he acted on behalf of the Department of State.
In another message, Volker allegedly noted Giuliani’s meeting with Andriy Yermak, “a person very close to President Zelensky.”
Giuliani added that Secretary of State Pompeo knew about his conversation with Volker.
