Japan desire to hold summit with North Korean leader

Japan initiates the summit with North Korea to discuss the important issue involves Japanese, abducted by North Korean special services. This is reported by Reuters.
The report notes that Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has reiterated his desire to visit Pyongyang and meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un. As it became known, negotiations were held during the last months to hold this meeting.
It is also noted that the key issue of the summit will be the problem of Japanese citizens who were abducted by North Korean special services and held in the country.
In addition, Abe noted that Japan could refuse to provide North Korea with economic assistance if this issue and denuclearization problem will not be resolved.
The summit is scheduled for discussion at The Fifth International Conference on Northeast Asian Security, which will be held June 14 – 15 in Mongolia.
