President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky plans to submit to the Verkhovna Rada a motion to appoint Ruslan Riaboshapka as the Ukraine’s Prosecutor General. This was reported by LB.ua.
However, according to the publication, there is a possibility that the Prosecutor General’s Office may be headed by the acting Head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Ivan Bakanov, while Riaboshapka will take high post in the SBU.
In May 2019, Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Ruslan Riaboshapka as deputy head of the Presidential Office.
