Moscow is ready to maintain gas transit after 2019 in the case of a settlement Gazprom-Naftogaz disputes on economically viable terms, TASS reports.
“The Russian side has repeatedly declared its readiness to preserve the gas transit through the Ukrainian gas transportation system on mutually acceptable conditions after 2019,” said a representative of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers.
But, he said, it is necessary to harmonize economic conditions, create an atmosphere conducive to dialogue and regulate relations between the interested companies.
Recall that the current gas transit contract between Gazprom and Naftogaz ends in 2019.
