According to the chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee of the Russian Federation and the former commander of the Airborne Forces Wladimir Shamanov, Russia will be forced to dispose Ukrainian military equipment in the Crimea “after a ten-year period” if Kyiv does not take it until 2024

“This is primarily the task of the leadership of Ukraine. Proceeding from international norms, they must either pick up [equipment, – ed.] within 10 years, or in 10 years we will have to dispose of it, because what is not in use decays and becomes useless,” he Russian official news agency “TASS” quotes Shamanov as saying, noting that the Ukrainian weapons allegedly not interesting to the occupiers.

As The Journalist reported, 75,000 Russian soldiers are present in Donbas and the Russian-annexed Crimean Peninsula.
