Public transport fares to increase in Ternopil from November 1

The trolleybus fare will double and the fare in route buses will increase by 57% from November 1 in Ternopil, the City Council reported.

At the same time, for the owners of preferential Ternopil Citizen Card, the tariffs will increase from UAH 3 to 5 (by 60%) and in route buses from UAH 4 to 6 (by 50%).

The fare in trolley buses will be UAH 6 (if paying with an electronic ticket or a contactless bank card), and UAH 8 if paid in cash. In the route buses, the fare will be UAH 7 and 9 respectively.

Pupils will pay UAH 2.5 in the trolleybuses and UAH 3 in buses and route buses; students will pay UAH 2.5 in trolleybuses and 3 UAH in buses.
