From September in Chernivtsi minibuses fare will go up to UAH 5

In Chernivtsi city council executive committee decided to increase the fare for buses from 4 to 5 UAH per trip from September 1st.

Corresponding decision was adopted on August 28th at the meeting of the executive committee by the majority of its members. The decision provides that this tariff will be effective from September 1st to December 31st, 2018.
Fare in the buses for pupils of schools for the whole academic year was approved at a rate of 2 UAH per trip.

Also, decision envisages the return of the so-called «social travel», providing free travel for privileged categories of population. They, according to decision of executive committee, will begin to operate in city from December 1.

«Social travel» will provide free travel in shuttles to privileged categories of population with income level less than 125% of statutory minimum subsistence level for July 1, 2018.

Also, draft document establishes time of the «social travel» – from 10.00 to 15.00.
