Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko has signed the disposal of the KSCA on July 5th, 2018 № 1147 about the price rise in city passenger transport from the 14th of July.
«Starting from July 14th, 2018, new tariffs for the transportation of passengers in urban passenger transport will be established: the metro, bus, tram, trolley, cable car and in the city electric train», the report said.
According to the document, passengers who regularly travel by public transport and use the system of replenishing contactless cards will be able to pay for one trip in the subway from UAH 6.50 (in case of a single purchase of 50 trips). One-time ticket will cost 8,00 UAH.
Passengers who use monthly tickets will pay for 1 trip from 6.14 UAH (in a monthly pass for 4 types of transport) to 6.50 UAH (in a monthly pass for 1 type of land transport).
Also privileges for travel in public transport for pensioners, ATO veterans, Chernobyl victims and other privileged categories of the population are preserved.
In addition, from tomorrow, the subway will change blue tokens to green, the press service said.
«With the change of tariff there will be green tokens. You can exchange old tokens for new ones without additional payment during July, in August – already with a surcharge», the subway was informed.
