Kyiv’s Shevchenkivsky District Court returned the passport to the former head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov, the press service of the Ukraine’s Special Anti-corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) posted on Facebook.
«As per a defense petition arguing the accused needs to find work, the court ruled to return to ex-Fiscal Service head his Ukrainian passport», – the message said on May 16.
At the same time, the court granted the petition by the SAPO prosecutors and continued to apply procedural requirements in full for 2 months for the accused.
SAPO recalls that on the demand of the defense, on December 7, 2017, prosecutors began reading the full 774-page text of accusations against Nasirov. To date, they have read 200 pages of the indictment.
The next court session is scheduled for 9:00 am on May 21.
As «The Journalist» reported, Nasirov wants to be recovered as the head of the State Fiscal Service.
