Saudi Arabia’s King, President of France discuss G20 efforts

King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and French President Emmanuel Macron during a phone conversation discussed the G20’s efforts to support the population, economy and healthcare organizations amid the coronavirus pandemic, SPA reports.

“During the call, they reviewed the efforts of the Group of Twenty (G20 countries) within the work schedules proposed by Saudi Arabia to work in the interests of the people and support the economy and health systems in order to eliminate the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic,” the message reads.

The parties also discussed bilateral relations and ways of their development.

At the same time, the leaders of the two countries discussed the latest developments in the region and efforts to resolve them.

For his part, the French President hailed the level of relations between the two countries, praising Kingdom’s efforts during its presidency of the G20 this year.
