The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) officers have exposed and blocked the financing scheme of the “LNR” terrorist organization. This was reported by the SBU’s press center.
Investigators have established that the malefactors in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk Oblast registered a “twin enterprise” on the basis of the integral property complex of the railway engineering plant.
The products were illegally exported to the Russian Federation through a temporarily uncontrolled part of the state border. The representatives of the twin company paid taxes to the budget of the so-called “LNR”.
The managers of the company were informed of the suspicion.
In addition, based on materials of the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine imposed special sanctions and restrictive measures were applied to the Russian contractors of the machine-building enterprise seized by terrorists.
Investigative actions continue.
