Second World War anti-tank mines were discovered in Kyiv

In Obolon district in Kyiv on May 6 during a walk on the Stepan Bandera Street, 26-A residents of the capital found a suspicious metal object. This information is reported by the press service of the State Social Insurance Institution in Kyiv.

“At the scene of the accident Mobile Rescue Center of the Ukrainian SSRF pyrotechnics came, who discovered Second World War anti-tank mine TM-62,” the report said.

It is noted that the detected ammunition was seized and destroyed at the test site.

According to the department, since the beginning of the year, 479 units of various explosive items of the Second World War have been seized and destroyed on the territory of Kyiv.

Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that Second World War 250-kilogram bomb was destroyed in Rivne oblast.
