The commander of the Joint Forces Serhiy Nayev on the air of panel show “Right to Power” has revealed the number of Russian troops deployed in occupied Crimea.
According to him, on the territory of the occupied Crimea are 200 armored vehicles, 31 tanks, 100 artillery systems, 35 helicopters, 63 aircraft, 684 units of military equipment, 32,500 Russian troops. Of these, ground force makes 11,500 soldiers.
“Yes, this is true information. I want to add that the ground force makes 11,500 people. It’s about the entire line-up [32,500 Russian troops – ed.] on the temporarily occupied position, which also includes the Navy, as well as forces and equipment of anti-aircraft defense. The actual ground forces comprise of two brigades and one battalion,” Nayev said.
