President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Serhiy Osachuk as new chairman of Chernivtsi Regional State Administration, Liga.net reports.
Earlier, his candidacy was agreed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Answering the question whether there are candidates for the posts of his deputies, Osachuk said that “he can de jure hold consultations on personnel issues and appointments”.
Serhiy Osachuk is the candidate of historical sciences, translator. In 2013, he was appointed Honorary Consul of the Austrian Republic in Chernivtsi. He was also an advisor to the mayor of the city.
Earlier, the president appointed Dmytro Gabinet as the new chairman of the Khmelnitsky regional state administration, Oleh Synegubiv as the chairman of the Poltava regional state administration, and Oleksiy Kucher as the new chairman of the Kharkiv regional state administration.
As The Journalist reported, Zelensky appointed the head of the Cherkasy RSA.
