Representatives of the European Union and the UK have agreed on a preliminary text of the Brexit agreement after months of difficult negotiations.
According to the BBC, the document was agreed at the technical level by the officials after intensive discussions.
Today, on November 14, is the deadline for the British government to approve the terms of the agreement on leaving the EU. Downing Street said that there would be no second referendum on Brexit, «under any circumstances.»
If the parties succeed in reaching agreement, it must be approved by the European Parliament and British lawmakers.
The final Britain’s withdrawal from the EU is scheduled for March 29, 2019; then will be a transition period until the end of 2020.
In addition, Britain must pay GBR 39 billion to the EU.
