As «The Journalist» reported, Secretary General of the Council of Europe asked Putin to pardon Ukrainian Sentsov.

The Polish Sejm (lower house) urged Russian Federation to free Ukrainian political prisoners.

Thus, 410 Polish deputies voted for this decision, 2 vote against, with four abstentions. The Sejm adopted resolution on the release of Ukrainian citizens imprisoned for political reasons in Russia.

Polish MPs demanding the release of filmdirector Oleg Sentsov and other Ukrainians, TVN24 reports.

«Millions of representatives of the democratic world await the release of people who are persecuted for political reasons», – the document said.

«We demand the release of Crimean-native film director Oleg Sentsov who was sentenced in April 2015 to 20 years in a penal colony on terrorism charges», – the resolution says.

The resolution also mentioned Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko.
