According to the Ministry of Health, as of 09 a.m. on April 9, Ukraine has 1,892 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases.
Yesterday, April 8, 1,668 people infected with Covid-19 were recorded. For comparison, during the day from 09 a.m. on April 6 to 09 a.m. on April 7, this figure increased by 143 people.
New coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Vinnytsia oblast –13 cases, Volyn oblast – 2 cases, Zhytomyr oblast – 10 cases, Zakarpattia oblast – 8 cases, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 20 cases, Kirovohrad oblast – 21 cases, Kyiv oblast – 10 cases, Lviv oblast – 25 cases, Odesa oblast – 21 cases, Poltava oblast – 2 cases, Rivne oblast – 20 cases, Kherson oblast – 3 cases, Khmelnytska oblast – 1 case, Chernivtsi oblast – 29 cases, Chernihiv oblast – 2 cases. 54 new cases were registered in Kyiv bringing the total to 300 cases.
Dnipropetrivsk, Donetsk, Luhansk, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy oblasts reported no new infection cases over the past day.
Recall, a week ago, on April 2, Ukraine registered 804 coronavirus cases.
In total, 45 people recovered, and 57 died from coronavirus in Ukraine.
