The price for travel on the first Ukraine’s toll road (from Lviv to Krakovets, Poland), which construction will begin in 2020, will be at 7–10 eurocentes per kilometer.
This was stated by the head of the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine –Sławomir Nowak, UNIAN reports.
“We will orientate at European prices of course, but still it will be a bit cheaper in Ukraine. The average cost of autobahn construction in Europe equals EUR 10 million per kilometer. In Ukraine, I believe, it will cost at EUR 5-6 million per kilometer. Therefore, the fare will not be more than 7-10 eurocents per kilometer,” Novak said.
