This morning, February 25, the military prosecutor’s office in coop. with SBU officers detained the former head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Colonel-General Volodymyr Zaman, for for state treason.
According to UNN referring to its own sources, the essence of the charges is unknown so far.
INFO: Volodymyr Zaman served as head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from February 2012 to February 19, 2014. From February 22 to June 2014, he was authorized by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to monitor activities of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
