Since the beginning of the year, 12 people died from measles complications: 8 children and 4 adults.
This is stated in a message on the website of the Ministry of Health with reference to the data of the Public Center health Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
It is noted that an 8-year-old child died in the Mykolaiv region the other day.
The report says that most people got measles in Lviv (total 3845 people: 1,174 adults and 2,671 children), Zakarpattia (total 2,712 people: 490 adults and 2222 children), Ivano-Frankivsk (total 2464 people: 704 adults and 1760 children ), Odessa (total 1932 people: 924 adults and 988 children) areas, in the city of Kyiv (total 1649 people: 1021 adults and 628 children) and in the Chernivtsi oblast (total 1210 people: 399 adults and 811 children).
Note that measles is a dangerous and contagious disease, there is no medicine for it, and the complications of this disease can have deadly consequences.
As reported by the «Journalist» among the National Guard recorded an outbreak of measles.
