From the capital’s park trees were stolen

In Syretskiy park in Kyiv, unknown attackers stole newly planted thuya. It is reported by the press service of communal association Kievzelenstroy on its page on Facebook.

«Last week in Syretskiy park, workers of Shevchenko district of capital planted tuya, which was supposed to decorate the renovated park. At the weekend, they were no longer there – they were dug out overnight», report said.

It is noted that, according to Kievzelenstroy, only 1,045 bushes, 1,078 flowers have been stolen in Kyiv since beginning of year, 41 trees and 273 bushes have been destroyed.
