According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as of 07:00 a.m. on July 30, power line safety system was triggered due to complication of weather conditions (rain, thunderstorm, gusts of wind) resulting in 52 settlements were de-energized.
The electricity supply was disrupted in 23 settlements in Chernihiv region, 13 in Rivne region, 10 in Sumy region, 3 settlements each in Volyn and Chernivtsi regions.
Regional energy distribution companies deployed their repair teams to tackle blackouts.
