SpaceX has postponed the launch of the Falcon 9 rocket, which was supposed to deliver 60 Starlink satellites of the system’s global Internet coverage into orbit. The launch was scheduled for January 24, the company said this on its official page on Twitter.
The delay in launch was caused by unfavorable weather conditions. The satellites are expected to launch on January 27.
Recall that in May 2019, SpaceX launched the first 60 satellites into space, in November the second group of Starlink satellites was delivered into orbit, the third to be delivered at the beginning of this year in January. The Starlink network is designed to provide Internet access to users across the planet through the deployment of a large number of microsatellites (weighing up to 500 kg) in near-earth orbit.
As The Journalist reported, SpaceX successfully launch batch of satellites.
