Russia is trying to destabilize Ukraine by its actions in the Sea of Azov, said the US State Department.
«We believe that the Russian Federation destabilizes the situation in Ukraine, creating obstacles to international shipping in the Azov Sea. The US continues to support the Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders. We also call on Russia to stop creating obstacles to international shipping in the Sea of Azov,» – the Voice of America news agency reports.
As The Journalist reported, Turchynov said Russia strengthens Airborne Troops presence in the Sea of Azov and he does not exclude the possibility of provocations.
