US: end to war in Donbas depends on Russia’s decision

The Embassy of the United States of America stated that the cessation of aggression in Donbas and the restoration of the sovereignty of Ukraine depends on the decision of the Russian Federation.

This is stated by the US Embassy in Ukraine on its Twitter.

«The Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) began to operate four years ago. Imagine what it would have achieved if Russia hadn’t withdrawn in 2017. The decision is Russia’s – stop the aggression, respect Ukraine’s sovereignty, and participate productively in conflict resolution,» – US diplomats said.

As The Journalist reported, UN peacekeepers can be deployed in Ukraine not earlier than in 10 months after relevant decision.
