The US has expanded sanctions against Russia and blacklisted another 27 Russians and six Russian different companies. This is reported by Korrespondent inform agency.
«The US expanded sanctions list against 27 individuals and six legal entities from Russia in accordance with the Law on Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA), adopted in 2017,» – the report said.
As the State Department stated, the persons who were added to the list are relevant or acting in the interests of the defense and reconnaissance sectors of the Russian Federation.
It should be noted that the list includes Oboronlogistika LLC, Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant named after Yuri Gagarin and PMC Wagner.
In addition, the Internet Research Agency, Concord Management and Consulting and Concord Catering, as well as a number of individuals, were included to the sanction list due to their links to Russian intelligence.
As The Journalist reported, President of Ukraine and the Secretary of State for Defense of Great Britain discussed strengthening of sanctions against the Russian Federation.
