The mayority of participating States of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe at a meeting of the Permanent Council in Vienna condemned the illegal «elections» in Donbas.
This was reported by the Permanent Representative of the UK Delegation to the OSCE and the chairman of the OSCE’s Human Dimension Committee , Sian MacLeod, on the Twitter.
MacLeod said that the OSCE Permanent Council at the special meeting on the eve of November 12, in Vienna, has discussed «illegal elections in the Donetsk and Lugansk Oblasts».
«28 EU countries, Canada, USA, Turkey, Switzerland, Norway, Georgia, Moldova, Azerbaijan and others have condemned the violation of international law, violation of the sovereignty of Ukraine and the Minsk agreements,» the representative of the United Kingdom said.
Note that 57 countries are participating in the OSCE.
As The Journalist reported, the issue of the so-called elections in Donbas will be considered by the OSCE Permanent Council and the EU Council of Ministers.
