Strong earthquake hits south of El Salvador

The US Geological Survey recorded a strong 6.6 magnitude earthquake in the south of El Salvador. This is reported by Anadolu with reference to the Geological Survey service.

“The aftershocks epicenter was located 27 kilometers southeast of the city of La Libertad,” said in a statement.

It is noted that the earthquake center lies at a 10 kilometers depth.

In turn, no casualties and destruction reports were received.
