Two Japanese automobile manufacturers, Toyota Motor Corporation and Subaru Corporation, intend to recall more than 400 thousand vehicles worldwide to repair a faulty engine part.

It is noted that the faulty part could cause the engine to stall, risking a car accident.

The recall affects such popular Subaru cars as Forester, Impreza and BRZ, produced in the period of January 2012 – September 2013. About 101,000 of the recalled vehicles were sold in Japan.

In turn, Toyota recalls around 80,000 vehicles. It is about 25,000 Scion FR-S (sport car) models in the United States as for today, produced between March 2012 and July 2013, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

As The Journalist reported, Mazda, Subary and Yamaha are cheating consumers regarding the amount of exhaust gases and fuel consumption.
