Lawyer Vitaly Serdyuk demands that the court questioning ex-MP Anna Herman, the former adviser of Viktor Yanukovych.
Hanna Herman came today at a court hearing to the Obolon District Court of Kyiv, which holds another session within the consideration of the state treason case of former president of Ukraine, UNIAN reported.
Prosecutor Maksym Krym stated that the defense is inviting new witnesses who do not clarify anything in substance. The prosecutor does not see sufficient grounds for questioning Herman at this investigation stage.
Herman tried to say something, but she was stopped by the judge, because she was not a party to the trial. Later, the court granted the petition of Yanukovych’s lawyers about the interrogation of Herman as a witness. To prepare for interrogation, a break was declared in the hearing.
As «The Journalist» reported, an enterprise connected with the son of Yanukovych, tried to sue Ukraine.
