The European Court of Justice of General Jurisdiction repealed the decision of the Council of the European Union to freeze the assets of the former Prime Minister of Ukraine and the former Head of the National Bank, Serhiy Arbuzov. This is stated in the relevant document.
«In connection with the situation in Ukraine, the EU Council decision was annulled in the part concerning to the preservation of the name of Serhiy Arbuzov in the list of persons, organizations and bodies subject to restrictive measures in the form of freezing assets of former Ukrainian officials for the period from March 2018 to March 2019 », – the decree said.
In addition, Serhiy Arbuzov will also be compensated for all costs of litigation.
