For the past day, October 5, militants of the Russian-occupying troops 19 times opened fire on the positions of the combined forces operation, including 7 times with use of weapons prohibited by Minsk agreements.
As reported by the press service of JFO, the enemy carried out shelling of Ukrainian positions in the area of populated areas Krymske, Volne, Kamyshevakha, Troitske, Luhansk, Shymy, Mariinka, Novotroitske, Pavlopol, Hnutove, Vodyane and Shyrokyne.
Fighters conducted aimed fire from grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, 120-gauge and 82-caliber mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, anti-tank missile systems and small arms.
According to intelligence data, two militants of the Russian occupation forces were destroyed during the past 24 hours and seven were wounded.
«Since the beginning of the current day, the enemy has fired at the positions of the combined forces near the settlements of Shyrokyne and Vodyane in the Mariupol direction from enemy grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. Heavy weapons are not used. There are no losses among JOF personnel », added the press service.
