No casualties among Ukrainian troops reported in last day

Over the past day, July 8, militants mounted 21 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, mostly in the Mariupol and Donetsk sectors.

As reported by the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO), the Russian occupation forces violated the ceasefire along almost the entire line of contact over the past day.

In the Luhansk sector, the situation was calm during the day. However, the enemy was active in the Horlivka and Svitlodarsk sectors. The enemy opened fire at the Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Pivdenne and Svitlodarsk, using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. A Ukrainian soldier was wounded near Pivdenne.

Since day-start, the militants of the Russian occupation forces violated the ceasefire three times. Provocations with the use of small arms were recorded in the Popasna and Mariupol sectors. The enemy attacked Joint Forces units positions near the villages of Novozvanivka and Vodiane.

No casualties among Ukrainian troops reported in last day. According to intelligence data, two occupiers were wounded.
