Colonel-General Valery Geletey resigned from his post as head of the State Security Directorate of Ukraine.
About this Geletey said on his page on Facebook.
“I understand that the newly elected President of Ukraine must form his own team. For myself, I decided that I would write a report on the dismissal after the inauguration. Thank you to the staff for their dedication and high level of responsibility, since since 2014 each of you has been carrying out his duties in a heightened mode of military service,” wrote the colonel general.
Geletey wished his successor in this post strength, wisdom and enthusiasm in the honorable service for the good of the motherland.
