Today, June 7, Theresa May left the post of leader of the Conservatives, but she will serve as prime minister until her successor is appointed, as reportsEvropeiska pravda.

It is known that on July 10 the candidates for the post of party leader and prime minister will be nominated, and on July 13 they will be voted for in the parliament.

The voting process will continue until two candidates remain. Consequently, it is planned that the leader of the Conservatives and the new head of government will be elected during the week starting July 22, therefore Theresa May will remain in office for at least six more weeks.
