Three enemy provocations reported over past day in Donbas warzone amid ceasefire

On August 23, the militants violated the ceasefire three times in Donbas. No losses or injuries were reported among the members of the Joint Forces, the press center of the JFO headquarters informs.

The militants opened fire from small arms and an under-barrel grenade launcher near Avdiivka, while another several shots from small arms were reported near Zaitsevo settlement. In both cases, the shots were provocative and did not pose threat to Ukrainian defenders; JF units did not open fire in response.

Also, over the past day, the enemy strengthened engineering positions around occupied settlement of Aleksandrivka, just in front of Ukrainian fortified positions near Marjinka.
