On May 21, the illegal armed groups violated the ceasefire regime in Donbas five times, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters reported on Facebook.
Militants shelled Ukrainian army positions from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, automatic small arms and sniper weapons.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the militants attacked Ukrainian positions four times near the village of Vodyane, from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms; two times in the area of Pavlopil, from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms; near the village of Hnutove using heavy machine guns.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Sever(“North”), the enemy attacked JFO positions near the village of Shumy from automatic stun grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and sniper weapons.
As a result of the shelling, three servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were injured.
As The Journalist reported, an inclusive event for the JFO soldiers would be held in Kyiv .
