Representatives of the Russian Federation at the meeting of Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine refused to say where exactly in the temporarily occupied part of eastern Ukraine the newest Russian armament appeared.
A representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Herashchenko reported on Facebook.
Herashchenko said that the Ukrainian side raised as a priority a number of issues.
«First: the violation of the regime of silence from the side of Separate districts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts despite the declared «bread truce». It is true that during the ceasefire the escalation subsides, but there are killed and wounded, and daily fire is being recorded», parliamentarian said.
«Unfortunately, the supply of heavy weapons and equipment to the fighters of Separate districts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts from the Russian side continues. In particular, the OSCE CMM has discovered a set of electronic reconnaissance Thorns, anti-aircraft missile systems, drones, and other (weapons) in the occupied Donbas, while Russians refuse to answer the questions of the Ukrainian side, where the newest weapons of Russian production appeared in occupied Donbas», emphasized Herashchenko.
Also at a meeting of the TCG subgroup on security issues, representatives of Ukraine reminded Russians of Russia’s direct responsibility for knocking down the Malaysian Boeing MN17 flight and Russia’s unwillingness to facilitate a full international investigation of this terrible crime.
