Today, August 27, marks 100 days since Volodymyr Zelensky took office as the sixth president of independent Ukraine. During this time, his Servant of the People Party won a single majority in the Verkhovna Rada of new convocation. Zelensky made acquaintances with world leaders and scolded local officials, arranging some kind of “punishments” during trips within Ukraine, RBC-Ukraine reports.

Zelensky sworn in as Ukraine’s president on May 20, at a ceremonial meeting of the Rada. He finished his debut speech with the announcement of the dissolution of the Parliament of VIII convocation.

Since his inauguration, Zelensky issued nearly 600 decrees: over 200 out of them partially or completely canceled the decrees of his predecessors.

During the 100 days of his presidency, Zelensky managed to carry out massive staff shifts on the ground, firing almost all heads of regional state administrations, except the acting head of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration, Mykhailo Pavliuk, and the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Yulia Svetlychna.

Since his inauguration, Zelensky has visited 14 oblasts of Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelensky made five international official visits – to Belgium, France, Germany, Canada and Turkey. The President met with the prime ministers of Moldova and Israel in Ukrainian capital.
