The president of the United States of America, Donald Trump, has donated USD 100,000 from his presidential salary for researches alcoholism and alcohol-related problems. This was reported by The Hill.
"The White House confirmed that Donald Trump donated USD 100,000 to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, a subsidiary of the National Institutes of Health," the report said.
Recall that during the election race in 2016, Donald Trump promised that if he wins, he will donate his presidential salary, which is approximately USD 400,000 per year, to various government agencies.
