US President Donald Trump threatened Turkey with economic measures if the Turkish military attacked the Kurds. This is reported by the head of the White House on his Twitter.
“We will devastate Turkey economically if they hit Kurds,” Trump wrote.
In turn, the head of the United States noted that the Kurds should not provoke Turkey.
“It is necessary to create a 20-mile safety zone. At the same time, I don’t want the Kurds to provoke Turkey, Russia, Iran or Syria. They made the biggest contribution to the defeat of the ISIS. We are grateful to them for this, but now it is necessary to return the troops home,” said Trump.
