U.S. President Donald Trump has canceled trade talks with China last weekend, Bloomberg reports.
“I canceled talks with China. I don’t want to talk to China now,” Trump said.
“Let’s see what happens,” he said when asked if U.S. would backtrack on the first round of talks.
The United States raised customs tariffs on Chinese products several times. China has taken similar measures, which has led to an exacerbation of the “trade war” between the two largest economies in the world.
