Parliamentarians will continue the process of second impeachment of Donald Trump and begin impeachment hearings. If the parties do not call witnesses, this process may be completed before the end of the week, reported by CNN.
Following the Senate’s decision on the constitutionality of Trump’s impeachment proceedings, the parties will have 16 hours over two days to present their case. The prosecution will start first today, February 10th.
In addition, the US Senate amended the rules for impeachment proceedings after Trump’s lawyer David Sean withdrew a request to suspend the process during Shabbat.
