The US President Donald Trump is preparing to introduce new tariffs on Mexico in case of failure of negotiations on combating illegal migration. This is stated by the head of the White House on Twitter.
New negotiations are scheduled for June 6, however, according to Trump, the progress in talks with Mexico (on the results of the first stage) is not noticeable.
“Here one should understand that, if no agreement is reached, tariffs at the 5% level will be introduced next Monday. The higher the tariffs go, the higher the number of companies that will move back to the USA,” the president of the United States wrote.
