Hot water and heating tariffs increased in Zhytomyr despite gas prices have not yet been raised

The tariff for centralized heat supply services for households in Zhytomyr, which are not equipped with metering devices, has been increased by 11.9%, or up to UAH 33 per square meter, reported the press service of the Zhytomyr City Council.

According to the report, the corresponding decision was adopted by the executive committee of the City Council on October 17.

According to the decision, the tariff for heat supply services for consumers without house and apartment heat metering devices will increase by 11.9%, up to 33 UAH per sq. m, in comparison to UAH 29.49 per sq.m earlier.

The tariff for consumers whose homes are equipped with metering devices, the tariff will be increased by 12.6%, up to UAH 1,389.19 per GCal. Also, the tariff for the hot water supply has increased by 13.6%, to UAH 89.86 per cubic meter.

It is noted that the decision on tariff increase was the revised due to the rising cost of electricity and other factors.

As The Journalist reported, after the Government will raises gas price for households, tariff for heatting services will increase in a month.
