CEC will spend over UAH 160 mln to print ballot papers

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has increased expenses for the preparation and conduct of the presidential election by 6 million 74 thousand 671 hryvnias.

Members of the commission adopted the decision during the meeting, the CEC press service reports.

“The Commission made changes to the cost estimates for the preparation and conduct of the next presidential elections in Ukraine on March 31, 2019, approved by the CEC resolution No. 6 of January 3, 2019, presenting it in a new edition. After the changes, the amount of the Commission’s expenses increased by 6 million 74 thousand 671 hryvnias and totals 282 million 53 thousand 202 hryvnias,” the message says.

The CEC will redistribute the corresponding amount from the reserve of funds to its expenses.

The single cost estimates for district election commissions of seven territorial constituencies for the preparation and conduct of elections were also approved and totals about UAH 35 million.

As The Journalist reported, CEC will spend over UAH 160 mln to print ballot papers.
