Turkish secret services secretly detained and taken to Istanbul two Turkish citizens. This is reported by Strana news agency.
It is reported that Turkish businessman Salih Zeki Yiğit and Turkish opposition blogger and journalist Yusuf İnan were brought to Turkey.
According to available information, both the businessman and the blogger were in opposition to the incumbent president Erdogan.
It is noted that the abduction of Turkish opposition was conducted by the country’s special service «MIT» (Milli İstihbarat Teşkilatı, MİT). It is a national intelligence organization with the functions of secret political police (including abroad activity).
The operation for the detention of Turkish citizens in Ukraine by Turkish secret service in fact was committed without official agreement with the Ukrainian authorities.
It should be noted that according to the Turkish media, such abductions of political refugees is not new. For example, in April 10, 2018, three Turkish citizens were detained in Gabon and forcibly sent to their homeland.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, Turkey’s state of emergency expected to end on July 18.
